I Made It! Market: The Summer Schedule!

I Made It! Market, the city’s nomadic indie craft marketplace is hosting a full schedule of events across the City of Pittsburgh. I Made It! Market brings together regional artists with community, traveling into our city’s unique neighborhoods.

The I Made It! Market pop up events provide a unique opportunity for shoppers to meet and speak directly with local artisans who create one- and few-of-a-kind wares. Many products offered by IMI vendors use recycled materials or repurpose previously used objects to create new ones. Artists are open to personalizing or creating products especially tailored to customers’ needs. And, shoppers who purchase wares from IMI artists will be stimulating the local economy by choosing to purchase from independent, local artisans.

The I Made It! Market creates events with a two-fold mission in mind. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for non-profit, arts and community groups working hard to improve our communities AND to provide the opportunity for regional artists and craftspeople to establish their small businesses by bringing handmade wares directly to the community.

Our summer lineup of events includes:

WYEP Summer Music Festival
Friday, June 25: 4 – 8 pm, Schenley Plaza, Oakland
More than 30 local artisans will pop into Schenley Plaza to celebrate WYEP’s live music festival. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists offering handmade wares including: natural body products, handbags, jewelry, repurposed clothing and more.

Hand(MADE) in Marriage
Saturday, June 26: 12 – 5 pm
Wildcard, 4209 Butler Street, Lawrenceville
I Made It! Market and Wildcard offer the first annual indie (independent) wedding showcase. Vendors will be available to speak with soon to be wed couples with services that will make their wedding day truly unique. Couples will find local bakers, florists, entertainers, clothing designers, musicians, DJs, jewelry designers, handmade wedding favors and more. This event was made possible in part by a grant from the Lawrenceville Corporation. Visit the Hand(made) in Marriage website for more information or to learn about our vendors.

I Made It! Market’s 3rd Birthday Party and Marketplace

SouthSide Works Exposed Artists Market
